Class Description
Create a little handmade glow for the holiday season! In this festive pottery workshop, you’ll handbuild your very own ceramic Christmas tree luminary from clay. We’ll guide you step-by-step through building the tree form, then the fun really begins! Add cutouts for the light to shine through and make your tree your own with ornaments, textures, a star topper, or other festive details. Whether you keep it classic or give your tree a little extra personality, every one will be completely unique. Once your tree is built, it will stay with us to dry and be bisque fired. Then you’ll be invited back during a Community Glaze Session to choose your colors and glaze your tree yourself. We’ll take care of the final firing, and your finished luminary will be ready to add a cozy handmade glow to your holiday décor. No pottery experience needed! All clay, tools, glazes, instruction, and firings are included. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after glazing.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellations We get it—plans change! You may cancel your class up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund or to reschedule to a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class are not eligible for a refund, but you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend—just send us an email to let us know who's coming in your place. No-shows without notice will not be refunded. Finished Work Pickup Pieces are created during class and bisque fired once fully dry. Then, you will finish your piece during a scheduled Community Glaze Session. After glazing, pieces are glaze fired and ready for pickup in about two weeks. We’ll send an email once it’s out of the glaze kiln. We’ll hold onto finished pieces for 60 days before we need to make room for new creations. What to Bring All tools and materials are provided. Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on, and bring your creative energy! 🎨💫
