Community Glaze Session

Return to Finish Your Pieces

South Scott Street

Class Description

This recurring session is for students who have previously taken a class and have pottery that has been bisque fired and is ready to glaze. Glazing is the final step in the pottery process, and this session gives you the chance to finish your piece yourself in a relaxed, supportive studio environment. During the session, you’ll choose from our curated selection of studio glazes and receive guidance as needed to help you bring your piece to life. Community Glaze Sessions are open-format, meaning you may arrive anytime during the scheduled window. This allows students from multiple classes, as well as members, to glaze their work together in one shared session. Once glazed, pieces will be glaze fired and ready for pickup in approximately two weeks. Important notes: -This session is intended only for pottery made in our classes -Pieces must be fully bisque fired before attending -Space may be limited depending on kiln capacity This session is free to attend and offered regularly as part of our commitment to giving students a complete, hands-on pottery experience from start to finish.
