Class Description
Tiny hands don’t stay tiny forever! 🦃 Turn your child’s handprint into an adorable ceramic turkey you can bring out every Thanksgiving for years to come. Capture those little hands in clay with a Thanksgiving keepsake you’ll treasure for years! In this special kids pottery class, we’ll transform your child’s handprint into an adorable ceramic turkey, with each finger becoming one of its colorful tail feathers. Kids will get to help bring their turkey to life by adding the body, face, and silly little details that give each one its own personality. They’ll also paint their creation with colorful underglazes before we take care of the clear glazing and firing. No pottery experience is needed—just bring those little hands and a willingness to get a little messy! Perfect for: Kids and families Includes: Clay, instruction, underglazes, clear glazing, and firing Finished Piece: One ceramic handprint turkey keepsake Your finished turkey will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after class.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellations We get it—plans change! You may cancel your class up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund or to reschedule to a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class are not eligible for a refund, but you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend—just send us an email to let us know who's coming in your place. No-shows without notice will not be refunded. Finished Work Pickup Pieces are created during class and bisque fired once fully dry. Then, you will finish your piece during a scheduled Community Glaze Session. After glazing, pieces are glaze fired and ready for pickup in about two weeks. We’ll send an email once it’s out of the glaze kiln. We’ll hold onto finished pieces for 60 days before we need to make room for new creations. What to Bring All tools and materials are provided. Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on, and bring your creative energy! 🎨💫
