Ready to dive into the world of wheel-thrown pottery? This 6-week course is the perfect starting point for beginners. You’ll learn the foundational skills of centering, pulling walls, shaping forms, and trimming, plus get a chance to glaze your pieces in the final week. This is a hands-on, messy, joy-filled course where you’ll grow your skills week by week—and leave with a collection of handmade pottery to be proud of! ✨ Small group instruction (max 10 students) ✨ Weekly demonstrations + one-on-one support ✨ Includes 25 lbs of clay, glaze, firings, and tool use ✨ No experience necessary—just a willingness to get a little muddy! By the end of the class, you'll have several finished pieces and a strong foundation to keep throwing.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Refunds Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 7 days before the first class. If you cancel within 7 days, we can’t offer a refund—but you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend if they’re wheel-curious and want to join in your place. Please email us to make the switch! Missed Classes We aren’t able to offer make-up sessions for missed classes, but we’ll do our best to get you caught up during future sessions if time allows. Some weeks may include open studio hours—these can be used to practice or finish missed work. No-Shows Students who miss the first class without notice will be considered a no-show, and their spot may be released without a refund. Finished Work Pickup We’ll notify you when your glazed pieces are ready—typically about 2 weeks after the last class. We’ll hold finished work for 30 days after that. What to Bring Wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting muddy! Bring a water bottle, a notebook (optional but helpful!), and your creative curiosity. All materials, tools, and firing costs are included.
