Class Description
Back by popular demand! In this cozy handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your very own custom mug from scratch. Using beginner-friendly techniques, we’ll guide you through shaping your mug and adding personality with words, symbols, textures, or simple designs. No two mugs are ever the same, and that’s part of the magic. After class, your mug will dry and be bisque fired. Once it’s ready, you’ll come back to the studio during a Community Glaze Session to glaze your piece yourself and make it truly your own. We’ll take care of the final firing after that. This class is perfect for beginners, returning students, and anyone who loves functional pottery with a personal touch.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellations We get it—plans change! You may cancel your class up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund or to reschedule to a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class are not eligible for a refund, but you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend—just send us an email to let us know who's coming in your place. No-shows without notice will not be refunded. Finished Work Pickup Pieces are created during class and bisque fired once fully dry. Then, you will finish your piece during a scheduled Community Glaze Session. After glazing, pieces are glaze fired and ready for pickup in about two weeks. We’ll send an email once it’s out of the glaze kiln. We’ll hold onto finished pieces for 60 days before we need to make room for new creations. What to Bring All tools and materials are provided. Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on, and bring your creative energy! 🎨💫
